Artifacts

Here's a scan of an original 1975 WXCI bumper sticker, from my secret stash that was so much of a secret I didn't even realize I had them until last month. Note the "RASPUTIN ENTERPRISES 1975" in tiny type on the right-hand edge. Also note that the originals said "Western Connecticut State College" because that's what we were back then, by gum!

Birch bark? Now we can make Birch beer... we've been waiting hundreds of years for this.

First time I ever got birch beer I thought I was being swindled... no body told me the blankity blank stuff was as clear as 7-up... or rum... geez... (more eggnog?)

Yes yes yes... same thing. The funny tree with leathery white bark and black spots or streaks.. It's tasty too. Try some fresh birch in the spring or fall...

"What rolls down stairs alone or in pairs and runs over your neighbors dog... What's great for a snack and fits on your back?
It's a white birch log!

It's Log, Log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood.

It's Log, Log, it's better than bad, it's good!

Everyone wants a log! You're gonna love it, Log!

Come on and get your log! Everyone needs a Log!

A white birch log!"
